  Sometimes, insurance isn’t the best deal — because of high deductibles or high co-pays, or because maybe your drug isn’t covered at all. In many cases, GoodRx prices actually beat insurance prices (a co-pay or co-insurance charge). The good news is you can use GoodRx instead of insurance. Here’s a guide to making the right call. GoodRx beats insurance prices 40% of the time; For generic drugs, GoodRx saves people an average of $10-25 savings; 70% of GoodRx customers have insurance. You can and should use a GoodRx discount instead of your health insurance or Medicare if the price is lower. Keep in mind, though, that GoodRx cannot be combined with your insurance or any federal or state-funded program such as Medicare or Medicaid. GoodRx is not insurance. If your find a better price on GoodRx than what your coverage offers, ask the pharmacist to use the coupon and process the transaction as a “cash” payment instead.   To search for the providers in your network according to your program. Click here to be redirected to find your network provider. Once redirected to the PHCS site, select the appropriate network shown on the front of your membership card. Please always reference the logo on the front of your card, failure to do so may result in delayed processing and non-payment of medical bills.

When a member submits an eligible sharing request and has utilized a participating PHCS provider, expenses are eligible to be discounted.  However, if the service provided is not covered by the OneShare Health program, the discount will not be applied.
